Finding The Right Dog Collar
Finding the right dog collar can sometimes be tricky. First, you need to look at your dog’s normal behavior and activity level before deciding which style of dog collar to buy. If your dog loves to play in the water you should consider buying a nylon collar. Leather collars will work but they will crack and age quickly unless they are dried and polished after each dipping. For a large dog that likes to take you for a walk try a metal prong collar or training collar. If you are going out for a special occasion try a jeweled collar or some other type of fancy dog collar. But if the big game is on you may want a sports or NFL dog collar to show your canine’s team spirit.

Remember, the key to proper sizing is to pay close attention to the sizing criteria used. Do not guess or assume your dog is a certain size just because of its breed.
