- Measure carefully and don't assume that if you normally purchase a certain size for your dog you will always purchase the same size. Just like clothes for humans, dog clothing can have quite a fluctuation in sizes. So make sure you look at any sizing chart and choose the right size.
- Look for dog clothes and dress that are made especially for dogs. Some people try and take toddler's and resize them to fit their dog. This is a huge mistake, this can create choking hazard for your dog.
